Be wiser, not a whiner, about school votes If you have not attended a school budget meeting, now is the time. The final decisions about your school, its spending, staffing and programs, are being made. All of those decisions will have an impact on your children, your community, your real estate values and your wallet. To allow them to be made by others without your input is simply wrong.
Every year, people complain about their school taxes, yet most have little or no concept about the budget process and the details about how much it costs to provide education to students today. Don't be among the ignorant; arm yourself with information and make informed decisions.
