by Joyce

+It was a joy to hear from Eileen and Bob Elliott with the "Miss Everyone in New York" note as they, also are missed here in Deer Park. This lovely couple celebrated their 50 plus anniversary on January 23rd-how wonderful! Of course, Bob's forever bride was the star of the day on January 22 and Bob followed on February 12. Hope both your birthdays were fantastic.

This is a most amazing couple who are always there to help and guide at the Lions, OLOR, St. Cyril's etc. Plus to add icing to the cake, Buddy has a wonderfully melodic voice, especially when soloing his "Five Golden Rings." I understand that they had a wonderful Florida visit with Bob and Eileen helping to join in Bob's birthday celebration.

+February 17th (quite a birthday day) was the day for Mikey McEvoy, son of the effervescent Colleen and the erudite Steve McEvoy. Brothers Ryan and James made the day complete and Colleen's fellows were there to honor Colleen on her January 26 day. I wonder if Steve made his divine special chili for the family.
