P.Y.A.C. workshops on Chid Abduction and Abuse Prevention to be held April 25
Parent and Youth Activities Committee (P.Y.A.C.) in cooperation with North Babylon Community Youth Services, is offering two workshops to help you protect your children. The Childhood Abduction and Abuse Prevention workshop, presented by Parents for Megan's Law, will be held Wednesday, April 25, 7 to 9 p.m. Topics discussed will include rules of safety for children, red flags to look out for and tricks that pedophiles use. The Ident-A-Kid Program, sponsored by District Attorney Thomas Spota and presented by Suffolk County P.A.L., will be held on April 13, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Children, ages 10 and under, will have their photo and fingerprints taken to assist parents and the Police in identifying them in an emergency.

There is still time to register for workshops on the following topics: Smoking Cessation, 7 Decisions That Will change Your Life and 7 Spiritual lessons of Divorce. You must be preregistered to attend any workshop(s). Workshops will be canceled if there is low/no registration, so please call as soon as possible to register.
