Lindenhurst resident recognized as unsung hero

The Education & Assistance Corporation will reco g n i z e Lindenhurst resident, Marian Conway, at its Seventh Annual Spring Luncheon presented by Bethpage Federal Credit Union on Thursday, March 29, at the Crest Hollow County Club. Conway is the senior program

manager of The

Roslyn Savings Foundation and is being recognized as one of EAC's Unsung Heroes because of her commitment to those in need.

The Spring Luncheon benefits the Education & Assistance Corporation's 70 programs and highlights its Chance to Advance Program. Launched in 2004 with a gift from The Doreen Downs Miller Foundation, Chance to Advance helps foster care children receive focused intervention through the support of one-on-one mentors.
