Deer Park Parents Resource Center to hold workshop March 19 The Parents' Resource Center of the Deer Park School District will be holding two programs at the Abraham Lincoln School, 300 Park Ave., Room 11. On Friday, March 16, 9:30 to 11 a.m. parents are invited to open and honest discussions of real-life parenting issues. Share hot coffee, warm conversation and laughter. The fourth parenting workshop on How to Talk to Your Children About Difficult Subjects series, entitled How to Talk to Your Children About Drugs and Alcohol will be presented Monday, March 19, 9:30 to 11 a.m. by Wendy Zawolik, substance abuse social worker, LASW-R, CASAC.
