Half Hollow Hills confronts An Inconvenient Truth
The Half Hollow Hills School District recently hosted a free showing to students and community members in which former Vice-President Al Gore's documentary,
An Inconvenient Truth, was viewed and discussed. Guest speaker Dr. Luisa from SUNY Stony Brook enlightened the audience with her commentary on the film. The showing was primarily designed to address the current dilemma of global warming and its present and future implications on our environment.
