Sullivan Signs for Scholarship

Senior Erika Sullivan recently signed a Letter of Intent to attend Manhattan College on a full Division I Softball Scholarship. Erika is one of the finest pitchers to compete at the pitcher- rich Bay Shore Program. She has been a member of the Varsity Softball Team since seventh grade. This was a tremendous accomplishment and Erika has evolved into one of the finest pitchers the program has ever produced. With an overall record of 46-4 she was selected as Suffolk County Pitcher of the Year in '06. Ms. Sullivan has been an All-County selection, All-State and N.F.C.A. Regional All- American. Additionally, this extraordinary athlete has been a five time N.F.C.A. Academic All-American, voted twice team MVP and Captain and is the epitome of what a student-athlete should be. Erika overcame a season-ending shoulder surgery and evolved to be a Regional All-American and Suffolk County Pitcher of the Year. She led the Lady Marauders to the State Finals and finished with ten shut outs, four no-hitters, and one hundred and forty strikeouts. She became the most dominating pitcher in Suffolk County and one of the best in New York State. Erika will finish her career in '07 and expects to assist the team in having another dominant season.
