Deer Park School gets a gift from Girl Scouts
Members of the Girl Scout Troop 903 of Deer Park recently attended a Deer Park School District Board of Education meeting to donate an American Flag to the District's JFK Intermediate School. The Board of Education President Mike Oddo graciously accepted the flag and commended the girls for realizing the need and the importance of recognizing our country's symbol of democracy. The flag was hung in the JFK cafeteria.
