Udall Road middle school students visit the Nassau County Museum of Art

Students in Deborah Pulitano and Kathy Ryan's classes at West Islip's Udall Road Middle School enjoyed a trip to the Nassau County Museum of Art for cultural and historical enrichment. The exhibit features The American Spirit, consisting of paintings by Mort Kunstler. Regarded widely as the leading history painter of today, Kunstler works in a heightened realist vein. This current exhibit is arranged chronologically, from the early days of the nation to the Revolution, to the Space Age.

Shown in the photo are students Nicole J. and Brittany H. viewing a painting of Ben Franklin in his print shop as he examines the first copy of the U.S Constitution. The work is titled, We the People.
