Babylon HS chemistry lab enhanced

At Babylon Junior-Senior High School, students in the flame test lab have helped to improve the facility, based on their experiences in it. The lab serves as a "Who Done It?" environment introducing aspects of Forensic Science. Students Samantha Lipman and Rebecca McNamara, who participated in lab projects as sophomores, worked with advisors Steven Silipo, Jeffrey Kenney and Judy Procaccini, in enhancing the classroom, which will ultimately lead to improved results and a better environment for students to work in, reports Science Director Richard Vultaggio. This lab also involves collecting data on laptops that are used to create elaborate research summaries.
