+Daniela B. Arias, Ricky R. Chen and Jacquelyn R. Hughes,all of Bay Shore, were fall 2006 candidates for graduation at Nassau Community College, Garden City.

+Named to the dean's list at the Nassau Community College were Bay Shore residents Justin T. Benedetti, Krystal M. Cole, Karla P. Perez and Sean D. Sullivan.;

+The following local residents were named to the dean's list at the State University of New York College at Cortland: from Bay Shore are Cassandra Anne Campo and Aaron K. Marsh; from Central Islip are Rose Graham, Rosetta Ann Graham, and Nicole Bari Levenson; from East Islip are William Christopher Bishop, Patrick Daniel Colgan, Matthew Joseph Innace and Nicole A. Locascio and from Islip Terrace are Casey Elizabeth Bauer and Jennifer Lee McKenna.

+Emily Dorothy Bernzott, of Islip, was named to the dean's list for the fall 2006 semester at Lafayette College, Easton, Pennsylvania.
