Islip Town golf courses available for golf outings
Islip Town Supervisor Phil Nolan invites golfers of all ages and playing levels to any one of the Town's three golf courses, located conveniently throughout the Town. The Holbrook Country club is located on Patchogue-Holbrook Road and features an 18-hole course, a full-service restaurant and catering facility, a driving range, pro shop, showers and restrooms, basketball, tennis and handball courts, and softball, soccer and football fields. The Brentwood Country Club, located at 100 Pennsylvania Ave., also features an 18-hold course, a full service catering facility, a proshop, putting green, showers and restrooms and the Gull Haven golf Course, located on the grounds of the New York Tech Campus on Carleton avenue, includes a ninehold course, a pro-shop and restrooms.
The Holbook Country Club and the Brentwood Country Club are also available for golf outings for parties of 100 or more golfers. Outings are held at Brentwood on Mondays and on Tuesdays, at Holbrook, May through September. Applications for outings are available at the Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs, located at Brookwood Hall, 50 Irish Ln., East Islip. For more information call 631-224- 5413.
