Legislator Steve Stern awards certificates of merit to Parliment Place DARE graduates
Suffolk County Legislator Steve Stern (DHuntington) 16th LD presented Certificates of Merit to students at Parliament Place Elementary School, North Babylon for successful completion of the DARE Program. The DARE program educates children about the dangers of drug, alcohol, and tobacco abuse and encourages children to make smart and healthy choices throughout their lives. The program also fosters communication between the students and the police. Parliament Place students are taught by Suffolk County Police Officer George Lynagh of the 1st Precinct.
