Lindenhurst HS senior officially signs to Canisius College
Lindenhurst High School senior Renee Lettow has officially signed on to continue her volleyball career with an athletic scholarship to Canisius College. Lettow has realized much success on the court, as she began her volleyball career in the seventh grade. She quickly rose through the ranks to become a leader on the varsity team, earning All- County, All-County Tournament, League II Player of the Year, Suffolk County Outstanding Senior, and All- Long Island awards this year alone.
In addition, she has been a player on the Empire State Team (Scholastic Division), representing Long Island for three consecutive years. She earned a silver medal from the Empire State games two years ago. Her prior awards include the MVP award on the junior varsity team as a freshman; Rookie of the Year for the varsity team during her sophomore year; League I Rookie of the Year, All- County League I and All-County Tournament honors last year.
