Albany Ave. School shares in the spirit of giving

For the tenth year, students, staff, and faculty at Albany Avenue Elementary School bonded together to share in the spirit of giving during the Thanksgiving season. Coordinated by Albany's nursing staff, the school put together nine packages of Thanksgiving meals and fixings for needy families within the school. Every grade level at Albany was asked to donate a particular item, from paper towels and canned goods to coffee and hot chocolate. Teachers also donated money so each family could receive a turkey with their Thanksgiving package.

Anita Marconi, RoseAnne Walker, Gail Freilich, Vicky Comerford, Mrs. Rolta, and Dan Marconi organized this special service project.
