Babylon American Legion and Auxiliary host holiday luncheon

On Wednesday, December 6, members of Babylon Post 94 and its Auxiliary joined together to host a holiday luncheon for 21 hospitalized veterans of Northport VA Hospital. Everyone enjoyed a hot lunch of roast pork, vegetables, potatoes and applesauce followed by apple pie and homemade cupcakes, coffee and tea. Members involved the veterans and staff from the hospital in a Christmas sing-a-long while awaiting the arrival of "Santa." All received gifts of t-shirts which expressed "thanks" for your service to our country; sweat pants, knit hats and socks.
