Legislator Steve Stern awards former executive director of RSVP

Suffolk County Legislator Steve Stern (DHuntington) 16th LD recently honored Deborah Weiner with a proclamation for being awarded the "Lifetime Achievement Award" by the National Association of Social Workers. Weiner has served the Retired Senior Volunteer Program of Suffolk County (RSVP) for over 17 years in her role as executive director and as vice president of the Na-

tional Association of RSVP Directors. She has also served on the advisory board of the New York State Office of the Aging and the New York State Assembly Committee for the Aging.

"It is my privilege to recognize Deborah Weiner for her outstanding contributions to not only the senior community but to all of Suffolk County," said Legislator Stern.
