Students and parents from the West Gates Avenue school PTA in Lindenhurst conducted a clean-up at Venetian Shores Park as part of a Volunteer Youth Service project. They removed over 70 large bags of debris. Youth Service Day is sponsored by Assemblyman Bob Sweeney and Town Supervisor Steve Bellone and the West Gates project was part of the Lindenhurst PTA's "Big Help"program.
