With the summer blooming season coming to a close, there are many locations throughout the towns and Villages where burgeoning trees and bushes are posing a safety hazard. They block the view of oncoming traffic. Some of these locations are on public property such as at railroad crossings, while others are on private property. In any case, it would be a good idea for our highway departments to make a check of street intersections to make sure drivers have a clear view. And, residents and drivers would be helping out by reporting problem locations to the locales.
