Suffolk County Legislator Wayne R. Horsley presented the Suffolk County Volunteer of the Year award to Lindenhurst resident Evelyn Chivvis for her commitment and dedication to the community. Chivvis, chairperson of the Mayor's Beautification Society has continuously volun- teered her time and expertise, thereby enhancing the beauty of Lindenhurst Village throughout the year.
