Lindenhurst Middle School celebrates International Day in style

Lindenhurst Middle School's gymnasium was filled with the wonderful sights, sounds, and foods of countries from across the world. As part of the Middle School's Annual International Day, students transformed the gym into a melting pot of different nations.

Each student team set up a booth detailing a different country, displaying facts, photos, and traditional foods from the country. People could travel to Egypt, Poland, England, China, Greece, and Italy all within minutes. Smaller countries such as Madagascar, Dominican Republic, Fiji, and Chad were also represented.

"International Day was a huge success. It was an amazing display and I think many people were very impressed," said Coordinator of ESL and Foreign Languages Steven Sonkin.
