The Breakfast Club at Babylon Junior- Senior High School, advised by teachers Sheila Vaswani, shown left, and Cindy Theiss, right, recently raised $800 for relief efforts in Darfur. The donation was handled through UNICEF, which has been airlifting supplies to Sudan's western Darfur region. The most vulnerable in this humanitarian crisis are children and women and the Babylon students decided to help by responding to an appeal for donations. Shown with the teachers are four representatives of the Club: Alexander Grant, Donald Werner, Rebecca Werner and Ryan Katz. Rebecca Werner and Sheila Vaswani are holding a certificate and ribbon the club recently received from UNICEF.
