Longtime Babylon Village resident and realtor Herta Wagner died June 5, 2007 surrounded by family at Our Lady of Consolation Nursing Home in West Islip. She was 79-years old and was considered somewhat of a pioneer when she combined the responsibilities of family and career at a time when most women worked only in the home.
