Students in Deborah Pulitano and Kathy Ryan's classes at West Islip's Udall Road Middle School enjoyed a trip to the Nassau County Museum of Art for cultural and historical enrichment. The exhibit features The American Spirit, consisting of paintings by Mort Kunstler. Regarded widely as the leading history painter of today, Kunstler works in a heightened realist vein.
