Car hits pole in Babylon Village

Suffolk Police and about 35 Babylon Village fire and rescue personnel firefighters rushed to the scene of an automobile accident at 429 West main Street, at 7 a.m., Wednesday, December 20. Fire Chief Rick Krollage said that a car went out of control, striking a pole there. Volunteers worked to extricate a woman from the car whose identity was not available at press time. She was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. No other injuries were reported.
