The Winners
are..... "More people entered this year, so we had some difficult choices to make," said Donna Consola, president of the Chamber of Commerce, which cosponsors the event with the Babylon Beacon newspaper. "Many of the homeowners and businesses worked very hard to help bring the holiday spirit to their friends, neighors and customers and we'd like to see even more enter next year." Assisting in the judging this year was Gina Amico of Kids Chic. And now for the winners... Selected as the winning business entry was the display at the Sherwin Williams Paint Store at 260 East Main Street. Their ladders of lights brightened up that part of the Village. The decorated houseboat behind The Hook Restaurant won for most unique entry, and the home of Tavia and Rodney Ragen at 130 Lighthouse Road took first place for best decorated home. It's worth the trip, and along the way there are some other beautiful homes that residents lovingly decorated to contribute to the cheer of the holiday season.
