Islip Arts Council presents its Free Concert series

The Islip Arts Council is celebrating its milestone 31st season of presenting music with its Free Concert Series.

On Sunday, January 14, 2 p.m., acclaimed pianist Tanya Bannister will give a solo recital. The Pierrot Consort will perform Sunday, January 21, 2 p.m. The Pierrot Consort is the faculty ensemble-in-residence at the C.W.Post campus of Long Island University. On Sunday, January 28, 2 p.m. New York City guitarist, Daniel Lippel will be performing.

The performances are held at the Carriage House of the Bayard Cutting Arboretum, Montauk Highway, Great River. Seating is limited and is on a first-come basis. The concert is free and seating tickets are given out beginning 12:30 p.m. Call 631-224-5420 or e-mail IACouncil@aol.com for information.
