Babylon students honored for Arts Studies

At Babylon Junior-Senior High School, the practical arts department encompasses technology, design and drawing, home and careers, child psychology, keyboarding applications, college accounting, and gourmet goods courses. Marshall Aykroyd is the director.

Recently, 12 students were praised for outstanding work in their respective classes, almost all of whom are pictured. Shown, at left, Principal Robert Visbal and Marshall Aykroyd and at right, Assistant Principal Steve Goldberg. The students are Molly McGalley, Joe Anderson, Dan Boneventre and Emily Atchinson for technology, Judith Weis, Shannon Weber, Christine Hunter and Dawn Irrgang in family and consumer sciences, and Andrew Cosby, Noelle Rogers, Samantha Lipman and Kyle Duca in the business department.
