Members of WI Glamour Girls Club treat seniors to a day of beauty

Identifying themselves as members of the new Glamour Girls Club, 12 West Islip High School students went to Our Lady of Consolation Nursing Home in West Islip with nail polish, makeup, hand creams and hair products in tow, offering residents personalized beauty treatments for the holidays. Lining up for manicures, residents praised the students’ initiative and courtesy. High school senior Samantha Sforza is credited with the concept, reports guidance counselor Virginia Mullins, who was on hand to chaperone the teens.
