Babylon Lions name Lion of the Year

Babylon Lion Third Vice President Maurice (Mo) Azzapardi was awarded the 2005-2006 Lion of the Year award. Lion Past President Mike Weis said that Mo was always there when asked. Lion Mo chaired the 300 Club Pool Party attended by over 250 people. He also chaired the north side of the Babylon Beautification Fair where they handed out close to 2,000 balloons. He is most proud of the Babylon Leo’s, one of Babylon High School’s largest service clubs.
