Church offered healing

Dear Editor:

I am writing in regards to your editorial comment of November 23, 2006. I was disconcerted by your letter because of its inaccuracy. Just before every Mass service on the weekend of Nov. 18th and 19th Fr. Vin Rush addressed the assembly about Fr. Tom Saloy. He not only addressed the matter forthrightly, he also invited everyone to a prayer service/discussion for Monday evening at 8:00pm in the church. It was well attended and afforded the community to be together in prayer and to express their feelings of betrayal, pain, concern and disappointment. I'm so deeply sorry you missed it. Please, help your readers to know truth!
