No space for voters parking

Dear Editor:

This is a protest written for all the people who tried to vote at the Deer Park High School. At 8 a.m. all the parking spaces were taken and the surrounding streets were full of parked cars. The handicapped spaces were blocked off with yellow tape and a sign was posted that said handicap drop off; tough to do when the handicapped person is the driver and sole occupant.

It seems that a school conference was scheduled and every teacher in the district was in attendance. Talk about poor planning. Is it possible that one of the political parties managed this? Or was it some of the overpaid administrators who engineered this fiasco? The people deserve some answers. The taxpayers of Deer Park have been shortchanged again.
