Babylon Village Cup Tournament

The Babylon Village Cup Tournament was held October 7 at the E. Donald Conroy Golf Course at Sumpwams Creek. Teams representing 17 Village organizations who competed for the "Village Cup" this year in an exciting match. At the end of the match, the E. Donald Conroy Men's League team of Ed McCarthy and Steve Neary edged out a one-stroke victory over the Lion's Club team of Rob Yturraspe and his son Rob.

ment, Chris O'Shea and Frank Bustamante; Ancient Order of Hibernians, Bill Kelly and Ed Muldowney; St. Joseph's R.C. Church, Paul Gakowski and Frank Ferguson; Babylon Masonic Lodge, Bill Francis and Joe Konklewski; Babylon Soccer Club, Joe Hand and John Murphy; Babylon Village Lacrosse Club, John Frederick and Greg Antolini; Babylon Pilot Club, Linda Burke and Charlene Gibbs; EDC Women's League, Pat Farrell and Mary Alice Markham; Babylon Little League, Phil Panarelli and Rose Panarelli; Babylon Historical Society, Keely Harris and Wayne Horsley; Babylon Beautification, Tim Rodgers; and Babylon Chamber of Commerce, Connor Hartnett.
