The Autumn Leaves

The autumn leaves drift by my window.
I rake and pile, from morn 'til night
The wind is blowing and I am chasing
Each little leaf, as it takes flight.
Though I love the leaves, their colours unmatched,
I like them more, when they're still attached.
But I'll miss the leaves that fall, this autumn,
When winter snows start to fall.
