Oquenock Elementary Halloween Parade in West Islip

Students and staff at the Oquenock Elementary School in West Islip demonstrate every Halloween that they're a family by coordinating with Principal Michelle D'Amour's theme. This year, it was Peter Pan, with many of the costumes being handmade. During that afternoon, the community attended the outdoor parade in front of the school. Traditionally, cars are parked half a mile away to join in the fun and view everyone's attire.

Shown in the photo is the staff of Oquenock School and members of Peter Pan's extended family.
