Forest Avenue Elementary gets visit from NYC detective
Mrs. Massmann's third grade class at Forest Avenue Elementary School in West Babylon was recently visited by New York City detective, Michael Curley, parent of Megan Curley. The visit complemented a unit on mysteries, which highlighted the "Nate the Great" series by Marjorie Weinman Sharmat. Detective Curley captivated the students with stories about the cases he has solved, in addition to teaching them questioning techniques. Shown is a highlight of his visit.
