Islip Town presents The Nutcracker ballet to be held on Saturday, December 16 Islip Town's Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs is proud to present The Nutcracker-Act II, performed by Ballet Long Island, on Saturday, December 16, 11 a.m. Immerse yourself in the holiday spirit as the Sugar Plum Fairy and her prince dance with Chocolate from Spain, Coffee from Arabia, Tea from China and Candy Canes from Russia. The performance will be held at Town Hall West, 401 Main St., Islip. Tickets are $5 and can be obtained from the Cultural Affairs Office at Brookwood Hall, 50 Irish Ln., East Islip.
