Festival of lights celebration

Dominican Village cordially invites the community to join in welcoming and celebrating the holiday season. They will host their Annual Festival of Lights Ceremony on December 7, 7 p.m. in the recently renovated Helen Butler, O.P. Hall. Holiday refreshments will be served and they anticipate a special early visit from Santa Claus.

Community residents and business owners are invited to contribute by purchasing a light at ten dollars a bulb in memory of a loved one, in celebration of a special event or in honor of a special

person. It is a beautiful way to recognize someone and/ or a special event during this joyous season. The lights will shine for the entire holiday season and names of individuals, families and companies are listed in a memorial booklet.

Dominican Village is located at 565 Albany Ave., Amityville. For more details on the event and directions or if you are interested in being a donor or sponsor please contact Emily Monem at 631-841-4803.
