North Babylon School District welcomes new assistant high school principal

The North Babylon School District is proud to welcome Angelica Diaz to their high school staff. Diaz has been named the new assistant principal. In her new position she will lead the math, science and guidance departments.

Diaz comes to the North Babylon School District from the Brentwood Union Free School District. Diaz began her career as a middle school math teacher and then worked as an assistant principal at Brentwood's Freshman Center.

Diaz says, "I am very excited about being part of the North Babylon family. I have only been in North Babylon for a little over a month and I feel as though I have been working with my new family for years."

Diaz obtained her bachelor of arts degree from St. John's University, a master of arts degree from Stony Brook University and received a school district administrator certification from Touro College.
