Long Island Music Hall of Fame induction gala, Oct.15 The Long Island Music Hall of Fame has announced the addition of Alec Baldwin to its lineup of presenters for its Sunday, October 15 First Annual Induction Gala at the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts, 71 East Main St., Patchogue. Baldwin grew up in Massapequa, where his father was a high school teacher for 28 years and his mother raised six children, including his sisters, Beth and Jane, and brothers, Daniel, William, and Stephen Baldwin. Whether in regional theater or Saturday Night Live, blockbuster movies or Broadway, literary festivals or television mini-series, Baldwin has always attempted to balance his love of communicating with an audience with the demands of a motion picture career. Jen Chapin, representing the Harry Chapin family, will also perform. The families of George Gershwin, George M. Cohan, Perry Como, Sam Ash Sr., Edward "Little Buster" Forehand, and James (Jimmy) D'Aquisto will also be in attendance.
