Long Island Dahlia Society to host plant sale June 15

The Long Island Dahlia Society will hold a sale of exhibition grade dahlia plants Thursday, June 15, 8 p.m. in the Carriage House at Bayard Cutting Arboretum in East Islip. A dahlia basics class will be held at 7 p.m. In addition Dan Gilrein of Cornell University will hold a lecture on insect control in the garden. Admission is free.
