Jacqueline Paserb, lifelong West Islip resident and local R.N.

Lifelong West Islip resident Jacqueline Paserb was a registered nurse who worked for local hospitals and St. John the Baptist High School before her retirement.

Jacqueline Paserb (nee Kaczanowski) died May 10, 2006. She was 71 years old.

In her spare time she was an avid golf player that loved the beach, according to her husband.

Mrs. Paserb leaves behind her husband of almost 50 years, John; her children: Cynthia of Spain, Theresa of Maryland and Laura of New Jersey and their husbands; her three grandchildren; as well as her siblings: Peter and Robert Kaczanowski.

A celebration of the Liturgy of Christian Burial was held May 13, 2006 at St. Joseph's R.C. Church in Babylon followed by interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to the Frederick R. Chapey & Sons Funeral Home, 1225 Montauk Highway, West Islip.
