Over the course of the 2006-07 school year, the Lindenhurst School District will present a series of special meetings to discuss the district's curriculum. All meetings will be held in the Lindenhurst High School library. Lindenhurst residents are invited and encouraged to attend.

The first meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 11 at 7 p.m. The topic of discussion will be the district's science program.

The remaining presentations are as scheduled:

Wednesday, November 8, 7 p.m. - Topic of Discussion will be Library/Computer Science/Technology

Wednesday, December 13, 7 p.m. - Topic of Discussion will be Math

Wednesday, January 10, 2007, 7 p.m. - Topic of Discussion will be Social Studies

Wednesday, February 14, 2007, 7 p.m. - Topic of Discussion will be the Foreign Language Curriculum and Alignment Update

Wednesday, March 14, 2007, 7 p.m. - Topic of Discussion will be English

Wednesday, April 18, 2007, 7 p.m. - Topic of Discussion will be Athletics/P.E./ Health

Thursday, May 17, 2007, 7 p.m. - Topic of Discussion will be Practical Arts.
