Babylon Public Library appoints new director
The Babylon Public Library's Board of Trustees announces that Marina R. Sullivan has been chosen as the library's new direct, to succeed Robert Lusak. She will start her post on October 10.
Sullivan comes to Babylon highly qualified to take on the responsibliities of library director. She has most recently served as head of children's services at the Sachem Public Library where she was responsible for a staff of 50. She holds a master's degree in library science, a certificate of library management and has over 35 years experience in all aspects of the library profession. Sullivan is a native Long Islander with family ties to Babylon Village and the board is confident she will be a great assest in helping the Babylon Public Library continue its history of service to its patrons.
