Iraqi war demands total U.S. commitment

2006-10-05 / Opinion

Dear Editor;

Your September 20 editorial told us where we stand on the War on Terror. We are involved in full scale war and we need to free ourselves from selfimposed restrictions that include: legal war targets, our dislike of shedding our enemy's blood and the treat of war prisoners. our enemy has a broad definition on fighting a war and we have a narrow one. Let's face it we need to fight fire with fire.

Warfare is not a moral endeavor and self-imposed restrictions will not make it one. this war came to us on 911 and we need an unbreakable will win it. Our survival as a national depends on it. There is no substitute for victory and failure is not a virtue.
