Assemblyman Bob Sweeney visited with some of the dozens of children who participated in the 2006 Summer Fun Days diabetes camp run by Cornell Cooperative Extension at the Suffolk County Farm.

The day camp is for children ages five to ten, and provides recreational activities along with education about diabetes. The program is funded in part with a grant secured by Assemblyman Sweeney.
