Town of Babylon Supervisor Steven Bellone was on hand, as Joan Bocciere Gilroy, a representative from Cablevision, presented the Wyandanch Lady Warriors basketball team with free tickets to see the WNBA New York Liberty. The Lady Warriors are the reigning Class B Women's Basketball Champions and will surely enjoy a chance to see some of this country's best athletes play.

Following the presentation, Supervisor Bellone challenged the Lady Warriors to a "shoot-out," in which the goal was to make as many shots out of five as possible. Though the girls went easy on the Supervisor with their shots, a good time was undoubtedly had by all.
