Carol Varsalona, director of language arts and testing at West Babylon School District, and administrative intern Jennifer Bergmann recently convened at Parent Collaboration Meeting. The purpose of the meeting was to initiate a Parent Involvement Policy, which involved selecting a group of parent representatives from the Title I buildings. The collaborative team reviewed the policy that will be incorporated into West Babylon's Title I Plan. The West Babylon School District recognizes that parent and family involvement is an integral component in creating success for all students.
