Regina B. McCarthy, of Bay Shore, died June 12, 2006.

Mrs. McCarthy is predeceased by her husband Francis George McCarthy; her children and their spouses, Marianne and Paul Ellison, Susan McCarthy, Patricia Stephen Masiar MD, John McCarthy, Thomas and Andrea McCarthy and Timothy McCarthy; her grandchildren Cindy, Michael, Christopher, Brendan, Lauren, Ryan, Kristen and Matthew and her brother Patrick Mythen. Her son James McCarthy predeceased her.

Mrs. McCarthy reposed at the Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons Funeral Home, 200 East Main St., East Islip. A Celebration of the Liturgy of Christian Burial was said at St. Mary's RC church, East Islip, Friday, June 16, 2006. Interment was in St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale.
