Maxine Wolf, who lived on Cormack Court in Babylon for 40 years, died June 15, 2006 at her home in Eugene, Oregon after a brief illness. She was 91 years old.
For many years she typed braille for a home for the blind in Brooklyn and volunteered for more than 20 years at Planned Parenthood in Suffolk County. During the 1980' she worked as a library aide in Babylon.
Mrs. Wolf moved to Oregon 18 years ago to be closer to her children who described her as a "terrific mother and wife."
She leaves behind her children: Bill of Eugene, Oregon and Carol of Sacramento, California. She was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Arthur F.
Mrs. Wolf 's body was donated to the University of Oregon's medical school for research, as per her wishes.
